Birthday Picnic

This afternoon we enjoyed a wonderful picnic with a few friends in honor of my birthday. There are many amazing benefits to being married to Anne, not least of which is the spread of culinary delights that accompanies any (and all) celebrations. Anne did her magic, and so did our friends Jaime and Abby. It was a delicious impromptu meal.

Girl on the Verge

We will have a crawling baby any day now. She is so, so close. Right now, she is working on becoming a speedy backward scooter. She gets up on her straightened arms, but isn't quite sure what her legs are supposed to do. So, she ends up pushing herself backward.
